No case, but they packed the heck out of it! It has J bass-ish nut spacing - 38mm (I think). It has a classic burst (more subtle), not bright like on the Website. Center is the two paralel humbuckers wired in series so it isnt the same as the stingray wich is wired in paralel with the 2 humbuckers on. Whatever, to each his own. But i do like the fact that the single h models can do both.
